The Federal Government has declared Monday July 11 and Tuesday July 12, as public holiday to celebrate the Muslim Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola made the announcement today. He further felicitated with the Muslims and Nigerians in general on the jubilatory occasion.
The Interior minister said:
“I call on Muslims to continue to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be unto Him) and to also use the period to pray for peace, unity, prosperity and the stability of the country, considering the challenges of insecurity we face at the moment “.
