Nigerian Socio-political activist and co-convener of #BringBackOurGirls# movement, Aisha Yusuf has once again enlightened her followers on why they should vote for the former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.
Yesufu who is known for her audaciousness, said in a video she shared on her verified twitter page, that she will be doing more of videos until the 2023 presidential election is over, so as to enlighten her followers on reasons why they should vote Peter Obi in the presidential elections.
She pleaded with them to bear with her because whenever there is a relevant issue to talk about, she will definitely talk or air her view about it.
In the video she explained that a vote for Peter Obi is not a vote for the Igbos as many people are ascribing it to be, but it is a vote for competence, character and capability.
According to Yesufu, the Igbo region has endured and experienced more economical hardship in Nigeria than anyone else, so they deserve some accolades.
She furthered that the 2023 election is not about tribe or religion but about who can do the job, who is fit, who is capable of rescuing the already sinking Nigerian state.
She captioned the video:
“Voting for Peter Obi is not voting for Igbo people , it is voting for Competence.
“Saying you will show Igbo people is laughable.
“If there’s any tribe that have prepared itself for the worst Nigerian can be, are the Igbos.
“They faced the atrocious side of Nig during Biafran war.
“It is you and I that are learners.”
