As goodwill messages continue to pour in for the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State, Prince Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Dr(Arc) Michael Oziegbe Onolememen CON, a former Minister of Works, has also felicitated with the former Senator.

In the congratulatory message released through his media aide, Comrade Elempe Dele, and made available to Truthlive.net, the Edo Central PDP Senatorial Candidate said the passage of the Electoral Act has restored hope of voters in democracy in general. “I felicitate the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his hard fought and well deserved victory at the just concluded Osun State gubernatorial election. My felicitation also goes to the entire people of Osun State who voted enmass for the PDP candidate. It was a clear message of things to come in 2023 and beyond. It goes to show that PDP is prepared to rescue Nigeria ones more from difficult times, especially the untold hardship the APC led administration has thrown the citizens into.

“I want to specially commend the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for the reforms in the use of digital technologies to improve the reliability of election results that have become more widely used around the world in the past two decades. These include biometric voter registration, Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), voters’ cards, optical mark recognition, direct electronic recording, and electronic result transmission. These innovations have helped to contain electoral fraud and has also promoted the credibility of elections across the country. And it was this welcoming reforms that ensured that the Osun State gubernatorial election was hugely peaceful, free from chaos, fair and credible.

“The PDP has promised Nigerians across board its dedication to rescue the nation from the jaws of failure. The Osun State election is one of many to come across the country, and as the Party is poised for victory in the general election.”
