Chelsea have shown confidence in signing Sevilla centre-back, Jules Koundé after submitting a new bid of £55m which is in line with Sevilla’s expectation.
The Blues are currently ahead of their closest rival, Barcelona in the race to sign the French centre-back as Barca have currently not submitted a new bid to Sevilla for the player.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are waiting for final green light from Sevilla as they have offered deal until 2027 to Koundé.
He said, “Jules Koundé deal. Chelsea are now feeling confident as £55m bid was in line with Sevilla expectations, but still waiting for final green light. Thursday, key day.
