Barcelona have reached agreement with Chelsea top target, Jules Kounde as they are currently in direct talks with Sevilla for the French centre back on a permanent move to Camp Nou.
Chelsea were at the top of the deal last week after they submitted a bid of £55m for the player but Barcelona have again loaded their gun to hijack the deal from Chelsea.
If the deal pulls through, it would be the second heartbreak Barca would be causing Chelsea and Chelsea fans this season after an earlier fall out on Raphinha race to the Laliga giant.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Kounde’s priority has always been Barca and he has agreed personal terms with the club and is now waiting for Barca to reach an agreement with Sevilla to complete the move.
He said, “Barcelona are in direct contact with Sevilla for Jules Koundé. Talks are ongoing. Barça, also today feeling increasingly confident – trying to reach full agreement soon.
Personal terms agreement with Jules Koundé is done and sealed, he’s waiting for the clubs.”
