The National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Ejezie Emeka has confirmed the release of the kidnapped actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel.
Recall that Truthlive.net had earlier reported that Cynthia and Clemson were kidnapped on their way home from movie location.
The announcement of their release was made public on the AGN official Instagram page. According to the AGN, Cynthia and Clemson were released unhurt by their abductors.
He wrote:
“This is to gladly inform the public that the kidnapped actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel Agbogidi have been released unhurt.
“The President of AGN appreciates all Nigerians and Nollywood industry for their support in ensuring the release of the actors and urge members to be extremely conscious on and off set”.
The Guild has arranged for medical checks and psychological support for the actors.
