Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike has expressed his displeasure over the rising insecurity resulting from bandits operations in the Northwestern party of the country.
While inaugurating the dualised Ogbunabali/Eastern Bypass road in Port Harcourt today, Mr Wike stated that banditry in the North won’t have lasted long if given the opportunity.
He was quoted saying:
“The only regrets I have is that I don’t have the opportunity to tell the bandits that enough is enough.
“If I have the opportunity, the bandits know their time will be gone, But it’s unfortunate I don’t have it”, Mr Wike said.
