Popular Nigerian Singer Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa has berated the Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai for rubbishing the possibility of gathering two million people Kaduna residents for the planned rally in solidarity and support for Labour Party presidential Candidates Peter Obi.
In a tweet on Monday, the artist who calls himself ‘area fada’ described the El-Rufai as a mere clown.
Truthlive.net had reported that the Kaduna state governor in a tweet said that it, In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter? – ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????.
“I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Mondays, and came on overnight bus last night!! I jus’ dey laff, wallahi tallahi!! – @KadunaResident.”
Reacting to his tweet, Charley Boy tweeted: “Can you just imagine dis clannish clown, El Rufai, wey dey owe workers salary. Kaduna is now the leading state in terrorism.
He added that, “The once upon a time very peaceful state is now a bandit paradise.”
“Many of the victims of the Kaduna train attack dem still hold hostage.”
“The only tin wey dey worry dis clown na the one million March pass by Peter Obi supporters. Nonsense.”
Similarly, also reacting to El-Rufai’s tweet, renowned activist and co-ordinator of #bringbackourgirls, Aisha Yesufu, tweeted: “Even shame is ashamed of Nasir Ahmad El- Rufai @elrufai.
Another tweep, @victorisrael said, “I don’t know how y’all see this but this sounds like a threat. If anything happens to any Nigerian in Kaduna who comes to stand in solidarity with Peter Obi, El Rufai should be held responsible. Bl00d sucking demon.”
