The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP`s National Vice Chairman South-South Chief Dan Osi Orbih, and the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike have received back the former Deputy National Chairman (South), Dr. Sam Sam Jaja back to the Party he left seven years ago.
Dr. Jaja, a former chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and close ally of the former minister of transport, Rt. Hon Rotimi Amaechi was one of the founding fathers of Nigeria`s main opposition party, PDP.
Dr. Jaja was in the group is party members who left the PDP with Aminu Tambuwal, Bukola Saraki, Rotimi Amaechi, and others who moved against the candidacy of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.
Speaking to Truthlive.net on Wednesday, the leader of the PDP in South-South, Chief Orbih confirmed that Dr. Sam Sam Jaja is now back in the PDP.
He said: ‘Remember that Dr. Jaja was one of the founding fathers of our great party, the PDP, he has been meeting with Gov Wike and I, discussing his return to the party and I am happy to tell you today that he now fully back to his party with his thousands of his supporter and we shall formally welcome him back with his supporters in a later date”.
