Nigerian singer, Ice Prince Zamani has been arrested by the police for allegedly assaulting and taking hostage an officer in Lagos.
According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin in a post he made on Twitter, Ice Prince was accosted at 3am by men of the police for driving without license plates.
He agreed to be taken to the station but afterwards “abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river.”
SP Benjamin revealed that he has been arrested by his men and will be arraigned in court later today.
