The Governor of Rivers State and his counterparts from Abia, Okezie Ikpeazu, Benue’s Samuel Ortom, and Oyo State’s Seyi Makinde have again returned to the United Kingdom after barely two weeks of leaving the country.
The group had held meetings with the three leading presidential candidates in the 2023 elections in London two weeks ago.
Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC, and Peter Obi of Labour Party met with the four Peoples Democratic Party governors who are currently agitating for the resignation of their party’s chairman, Sen Iyorchia Ayu.
Though details of this currently trip by the PDP governors were not yet known at press time, but Truthlive.net correspondent in London gathered that the reason for this latest Journey to London might not be unconnected with the protracted leadership crisis bedeviling the main opposition party in Nigeria, the PDP.
