The 15th edition of the annual award show, Headies, took place yesterday in the United States of America, which saw many nominations and awards given to worthy artists.
Recall Truthlive.net earlier reported that American actor and comedian, Anthony Anderson and Nollywood superstar actress, Osas Ighodaro, hosted the 2022 Headies Awards show the 15th edition.
Highlife musician KCee, when receiving his award in the best inspirational single category, dedicated it to his family, wife and girlfriend.
This however caused an uproar from the audience who saw the statement as inappropriate. Seeing the reactions, KCee quickly said that when he said girlfriend, he meant his wife because she doubles as his girlfriend too. Moreso, she’s his “best friend, she’s supportive,” hence the need to dedicate the award to her.
