The presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore said, that his alliance with the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) to shut down the system of Injustice In Nigeria was a revolutionary coalition that will liberate Nigerians from their suffering.

Sowore, disclosed this when he received in audience the Adulmajid Yakubu Daudu-led faction of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), Monday in Abuja.

A report from the Leadership News stated that, ahead of 2023 general elections, the AAC Presidential Candidate has called on all Nigerian masses to unite behind the struggles.

He said, “now that we have the ballot for the Nigerian masses, this is the time and this is an option, arguing that he does not need to tell Nigerians the hell they are catching. “I call on all Nigerian masses to unite behind our struggles,” he said.

Meanwhile, the former interim national chairman of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP)Adulmajid Yakubu Daudu who announced the breakaway said, the move was in the interest of Nigerians and a beginning of the process to mobilize the masses towards their political emancipation come 2023 general elections.

While calling on Nigerians to unite behind their struggles to secure their rights to a better Nigeria and liberation from political slavery, Daudu said, the party had been taken over by the “reactionary leaders.”

He said, in order to give Nigerians an option ahead of the general elections, the alliance with the ACC was necessary to join forces to wrestle power from “reactionary leaders.”

According to him, they have held Nigerians in hostage of poverty for the past 62 years of independence.
