The Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Adamawa United, have received approval to use the newly rehabilitated Makwada Stadium in Numan for their home matches.

This development was announced by George Kushi, Special Assistant to the Adamawa State Government, through a statement on social media.
The government said that the stadium will boost the morale of the players, enhancing their performance in the season.

Both Adamawa United and the Nigeria Women’s Football League side, Adamawa Queens, will play their home games on the stadium’s turf.
Previously, they played their home matches at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe State.

Adamawa United are set to face FC Basira in their first game at the Makwada Stadium.
