President Bola Tinubu is currently playing host to Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, at the State House Council Chambers in the Aso Villa.
This gathering on Tuesday comes shortly after the team’s participation in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, where they vied for the championship against the host country, Côte d’Ivoire, albeit without clinching the top spot.

He highlighted their commendable journey to the finals, overcoming obstacles while improving performance.
Encouraging Nigerians to remain optimistic, Tinubu emphasized the nation’s triumph in capturing the hearts of Africa and the world through their resilience and determination on the field.
He urged unity in the face of challenges, emphasizing Nigeria’s strength as a nation bound together by shared values of resilience, hope, and unwavering love.
