Terem Moffi has been confirmed as the official replacement for Victor Boniface after picking a groin injury ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Recall that Alhassan Yusuf was also named as a replacement for injured Wilfred Ndidi on January 3rd.
In a significant development for the Super Eagles on their official Facebook page revealed that the change has been made in the squad and it’s now confirmed.
Terem Moffi, the talented forward from OGC Nice has now repaced the initially selected player, Boniface who picked a groin injury .
“Afcon Eagles Camp update, Terem Moffi now confirmed as replacement for injured Victor Boniface”, Super Eagles said.
The 23-year-old Bayer Leverkusen forward had missed the Super Eagles friendlies against Al Gharib and Guinea due to the groin injury which ended in a 2—0 loss for the Peseiro side.
