Afemai World Congress in USA, Shaibu Boasts, Says Edo Will Address Insecurity

Edo State deputy governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu has boasted and reiterated the determination of the state government to secure the state from criminals and criminality.

Shaibu who spoke recently in far away Newark, New Jersey, United States at the 15th edition of Afemai World Congress said that the government will spare no effort in tackling the menace of criminal elements as it is the surest way to attract meaningful investments for economic development and create employment for Edo people.

According to him “The Edo State Government will spare no effort to secure the state from criminals and criminality.

It’s the only way the state can attract meaningful investments for economic development and create employment for our people.”

The congress which holds annually, serves as an avenue for the people of Afenmai nation, both at home and in the diaspora to interact and articulate ideas for the advancement of the Afemai people.
