After Commissioning One-Bedroom Bungalow For Widow, A’Ibom First Lady Empowers Widows With Money For Business

The Wife of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, has Commissioned one-bedroom bungalow for a widow, Madam Hannah Okorie, from Nung Ukim, Ikot Udom in Ikono LGA.

Built and donated by the wife of the Chairman of Ikono Local Government Council, Mrs. Otobong Okoibu with the support of her husband, Mr. Nyakno Okoibu for the mother of three, Patience Eno, promised to provide a portable water supply for the beneficiary.

In line with her women empowerment program of the ARISE Agenda, the First Lady on Saturday also donated to others widows wrappers and financial support for their businesses.

Media Unit Office of the Governor’s Wife reports that the gesture elicited joyous celebrations from the beneficiary and the people of the community.

She prayed for God’s grace upon the chairman and wife to continue to discharge dividends of democracy to the people and charged others to emulate the good gestures in their different localities.

The Chairman of Ikono local government area, south south Nigeria, Hon. Nyakno Okoibu, flanked by wife Otobong, thanked Pastor Eno for coming to inaugurate the building project, adding that the ARISE Agenda of the administration of Governor Umo Eno has opened new vistas of hope for the people of the area.

On her part, the beneficiary widow, Madam Hannah Okorie, expressed sincere appreciation to God for His benevolence and the rare privilege of having the Governor’s wife commissioned her new home.

Highpoints were Goodwill messages from political stakeholders of Ikono including the paramount ruler of Ikono, Edidem Etim Nnana Itang, and Photographs.
