Ifeanyi Okowa, has been taken to the cleaners again by no less a personality than Elder Statesman, Edwin Clerk, who this time labels the Delta State governor as ‘Traitor of the South’.
According to Pa Clerk, Okowa who hosted many of the talks geared towards bringing power to the south, turned out to be betrayer, “working out a selfish deal for himself to become the running mate to People’s Democratic Party’s frontruner, Atiku Abubakar,” he said.
“He should be made to account for the 13 percent oil derivation money meant for the development of our state.
“Okowa has shown that he can’t be trusted and I urge that his party should be voted out office,” the elder statesman said in an interview streamed online on Monday.
“Ifeanyi Okowa deceived, southern governors on Southern presidency while having inner agenda, tricked south-south and mismanaged the 13% derivation paid to him, people should vote out his party at the polls” he said.
