Again, Wike Appoints Sacked Aide As SSA

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Sunday okayed the reappointment of Harold Koko who was earlier relieved of his position as aide to the governor.

Koko was appointed as the new Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Protocol.

Wike made the disclosure in an announcement signed by his media aide, Kelvin Ebiri.

According to the statement, “The appointment takes immediate effect.”

Truthlive.net recalls that Wike had sacked Koko as well as his Chief of Staff, Emeka Woke, but the latter had since been reappointed.

Meanwhile, the governor had not at anytime disclosed cause for his earlier decision to sack the two top government functionaries.
