AGM: GC HWOSA Reveals Supporting Classmate With N21m

As a non-profit organization in Nigeria, the Hope Waddell Old Students’ Association (HWOSA) Class of ’89 international said in the year under review, it has donated N21million to support one of its members for his 2023 Governorship election campaign in Akwa Ibom state.

The Global Coordinator of the Association international Mr. David Ekpenyong said this at the just concluded Annual General Meeting AGM, held in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

Mr. Ekpenyong, who did not disclose the beneficiary in an interview with Journalists went on to say that the HWOSA Class of ’89 had also donated one million for the renovation of JSS Class room block in the school.

Enumerating the Association’s achievements so far since inception, the GC added that it did not stop at setting standard for others to emulate but also have assisted one of their own who had a kidney problem with the sum of two hundred thousand naira.

“The HWOSA unique class set of ’89 international is bond in the love we share and care for one another, “he said.

With the theme, ‘Pathway to glory’ the HWOSA branch president Port Harcourt branch, Mr. Godwin Umoh said he considered the set as the best organize class of ’89.

He said they are the ambassadors of the Hope Waddell Old Students’Association adding that by the theme of the AGM they are moving on to glory and prayed for the continued success of the organization.
