Akwa Ibom State, Governor Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has approved the appointment of Obong Ide O. Owodiong-Idemeko, as Chairman, Akwa Ibom Investment Corporation, (AKICORP).
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Ekerete Udoh, made the announcement in a Facebook post on Monday April 22, 2024.
He listed Mr Owodiong-Idemeko,’s extensive professional achievements to include managerial studies from some top institutions in the world.
For instance, Owodiong-Idemeko, has acquired professional knowledge from PeopleSoft University, Reading, U.K.; Insead School of Business, and Fontainebleau – Paris, France;
Others include Thunderbird School of Global Management, Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
Also, he possesses expertise in Human Resources, Business Leadership, Planning and Strategy, Policy Development and Administration.
Furthermore, Mr Owodiong-Idemeko, possessed expertise in Organizational Effectiveness, Labour and Industrial Relations, and has extensive interface in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.
Udo said he has also possessed expertise within EM Regional and Global Business and Support organizations.
Therefore, he said his appointment takes immediate effect.
