The wife of the Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Patience Umo Bassey Eno, has said that the women she sponsored to the 23rd National Women’s Conference organiszed by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, COWLSO, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, share in her sentiments that they should replicate such an impactful conference in Akwa Ibom State.
The conference, she said was hosted by the First Lady of Lagos State and Chairman of COWLSO , Dr Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, together with wives of Lagos State Officials.
Via her official Facebook page the first Lady of A’Ibom said the conference was excellently coordinated with different sessions addressing issues that have posed a challenge to Nigerian women.
“I had a great time as Special Guest at the 23rd National Women’s Conference organized by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, COWLSO, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.”
“My experience during the three days conference cannot be dismissed in a few sentences and I know the women I sponsored to COWLSO share in my sentiments that we should replicate such an impactful conference in Akwa Ibom State to serve as a unifying platform for our women who as leaders, innovators, caregivers, and agents of positive change,” she added.
“We must continue to break down barriers that limit our progress, challenge stereotypes, and foster an environment of equal opportunity for all.”
