An FCT High Court will on Thursday rule on the bail applications filed by the suspended Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, and three others over alleged N109.5 billion fraud.

Idris and his co-defendants have pleaded not guilty to a 14-count charge bordering on stealing and criminal breach of trust preferred against them by the federal government.

Other defendants in the case include Olusegun Akindele, Mohammed Usman, and Gezawa Commodity Market and Exchange Limited.

He and his co-defendants arrived at the Federal Capital Territory High Court for the hearing of their bail application.

The defendants were brought to the court on Wednesday by officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Kuje where they were remanded.

However Justice O. Adeyemi Ajayi fixed Thursday to rule on their bail application after listening to the submissions of all counsel in the matter.

In addition, she ordered that the defendants be remanded in Kuje correctional centre pending the ruling.
