Manchester United’s Amad Diallo has broken records with his hat-trick in the club’s 3-1 Premier League win against Southampton at Old Trafford.
According to Manchester United’s official website, Diallo is the first African player to score a hat-trick for the club.
At 22 years old, Diallo is also the youngest Manchester United player to score a hat-trick in the Premier League, surpassed only by club legend Wayne Rooney.
Truth Live News can confirm that his record-breaking performance makes him the first African player to achieve this feat, surpassing Odion Ighalo and Quinton Fortune, who previously scored two goals in a match.
Diallo’s impressive display also sees him join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as one of the few Manchester United players to score a treble from the 80th minute onwards.
