Exhumed past tweet on Deborah, the college of education student murdered by irrate Islamic extremists over alleged blasphemy in Sokoto by embattled Aminu Mohammed has sparked mix reactions over his current ordeal on social media.
Mohammed recently tweeted on his handle alleging that first lady, Aisha Buhari, has fed fat on tax payers, resulting in what many reason as high handed response from Aso Rock.
Aminu Mohammed was arrested while on campus at his school, Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa, expressly by security detail attached to the first lady, taken to Abuja where, allegedly, the boy was tortuered with Aisha Buhari reportedly joining in the beating.
But it will seem that Mohammed has been making controversial tweets for a very long time, as a recent tweet of his has emerged where he supported the killing of Deborah.
In the tweet exhumed and has since gone viral, Mohammed on his handle, Catalysts @aminullahie promised to deal with anybody that wore vests mourning Deborah.
Furious reactions trailed the revelation with intrepid investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, publicly apologizing to Aisha Buhari.
There are other responses though.
Malone @NwonualaHope has this to say:
“Aminu is one of the Islamic religious extremists that supported the gruesome killing of Deborah in the North.
“Karma is real and life comes at one at a flash.
“So it’s safe to say that he’s getting a taste of his own medicine from that system that oppresses.”
However, others like prominent blogger, Chris Kehinde Nwandu still Continued to upbraid the first lady on her conduct. He said in a piece on his timeline on Facebook, “Aisha Buhari Could Have Done Better.
“Mrs Aisha Buhari as a mother shouldn’t have allowed herself to be involved in the arrest and jailing of that young undergraduate as a mother
“She would have scored a wonderful PR with that matter by inviting the boy to Aso Rock
“It would have made good front page news
“Her handlers didn’t handle this issue well
“So if she is Muhammadu Buhari that Nigerians abuse and even curse daily, what would she do ?
“She has played into the hands of her adversaries
“But what do I know?
