Lobi Stars technical adviser, Daniel Amokachi, has expressed disappointment over his team’s 2-2 draw with Kano Pillars in a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 13 fixture.
The Pride of Makurdi had taken a 2-0 lead at the Lafia City Stadium but failed to hold on, allowing Kano Pillars to rally and earn a share of the spoils.
Amokachi lamented that his team squandered valuable points in the game.
“The result is disappointing; we were two goals up, and we failed to hold on, which would have made the difference, but we threw them away; it’s sad,” Amokachi told Lobi Stars media.
Lobi Stars will look to bounce back from this disappointment in their next league game against Rangers in Enugu.
