Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has expressed the challenges of turning the team’s season around, citing the deeply ingrained negative feeling among the players.

Ahead of their Premier League clash against Arsenal, Amorim acknowledged the difficulties in reversing the team’s fortunes.

Manchester United currently sits in 15th position on the Premier League table with 33 points from 27 games, risking the possibility of missing out on European football next season.

In an interview with Sky Sports News, Amorim stated, “It’s very difficult to turn things around this season because the feeling is already ingrained.

Our players are marked with deep scars, making it challenging to change things quickly, but everything can change in football.”

Amorim, who previously led Sporting CP to the Portuguese top-flight league title, has faced difficulties since taking over as Manchester United manager, replacing Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
