Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has attended the 25th wedding anniversary of the General Overseer, Kingdom Power Ministries International, Apostle Gboyega Shitta and wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Wunmi Shitta in Lagos.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary Ekerete Udo, via his Facebook page shared photos of the governor at the anniversary.
The Deputy governor, Sen Akon Eyakenyi, Deacon Udom Emmanuel an ex-governor accompanied Pastor Eno to the anniversary.
Udo also reported that the governor applauded the couple for their dedication and commitment to the vineyard of the Lord.
For instance, he described the celebrants as passionate ambassadors of God’s kingdom and beacons of hope.
He referred to Apostle Shitta as a prayer warrior.
“Here, I am to identify with Apostle Shitta and his beloved wife on this special occasion,” said the governor. “I thank God for what He has done in their lives.”
Additionally, he prayed that their marriage and lives would continue to be a blessing.
Moreover, he expressed hope that after their silver jubilee, they would have cause to celebrate many more anniversaries.
The immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanauel recalled how Apostle Shitta stood by him during his tenure.
In his address tagged, GW25: “Praise and Thanksgiving Service, Mr Udom acknowledged the fact of leadership being not by age but by Grace.
Mr Udom stated that Apostle Shitta leadership’s style reflected in his deed, words, and way of life.
Nevertheless, he prayed that God would continue to bless the celebrants with years of marital bliss.
Meanwhile, President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria ( PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke, observed that Apostle Shitta and wife have been true servants of God.
Also, he noted that because of the word of God, the couple’s marriage has stood the test of time, as they have been praying ceaselessly and have been looking on to God.
Therefore, he admonished everyone to ensure their families, stand on a tripod of husband, wife, and Christ.
Other dignitaries at the event included Managing Director of Hensek Integrated Services, Engr. Uwem Okoko, Apostle Lawrence Achudume, and Senior Pastor Victory Life Bible Church International, Prince Bisi Olatilo.
