In Abuja, Nigeria`s capital city, the Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for Edo North, Hon. Barr. Pascal Ugbome, aka Ominimini, was on Monday inducted into the Panel of Neutrals, otherwise known as the judges of the Online Dispute Resolution, ODR, of the Insitute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, ICMC.
ICMC is the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators. It is an Institution devoted to the resolution of Disputes through ADR.
Alternative Disputes Resolution mechanism as against the Formal Court System. This is done through Mediators who serve as Judges but are otherwise called Neutrals.
The elated seasoned politician who spoke to Truth Live News after the ceremony appreciated the management of the body for finding him worthy to be so appointed and thanked God for His mercies and favor.
The need to be in tune with the current reality in the aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic, which changed the World into engaging in almost every activity through technology, and the ICMC considering itself an integral part of the global village, thought it wise to create the ODR.
