The anti-illegal Mining Committee and taskforce has called on its appointed members to report for verification to ensure that only committed individual participates in the fight against illegal mining activities in Cross River State, Nigeria south south geopolitical region.
The body made the call in a statement jointly signed by Chairman anti-illegal Mining Committee and Taskforce Prince Paul Effiong, and Secretary Michael Akaba, on Wednesday.
Circulating all over the social media, the Chairman said the mandatory verification is slated for Monday November 25, 2024.
Truth Lives News gathered that failure to comply with the directives may result in termination of appointment as the body reiterated commitment to work with active members.
According to the statement, “this verification process is critical to ensure that only committed individual actively participates in the fight against illegal mining activities.”
