The Edo Central Senatorial Leaders Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has tasked the governorship aspirants to purge themselves and prune down their bogus number to a sizeable one that will culminates into one aspirant, that will further be presented for the party’s governorship primary’s election in the state.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Major. Gen. Cecil Esekhaigbe, Rtd, PhD, APCÂ Senatorial Leader,
Edo Central Senatorial District, and made available to newsmen in Benin City after a senatorial meeting held at the Levels Bar and Suites, in Agua Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area of the state.
The Caucus further called on the entire people of Esanland, to support the people of Edo South and Edo North towards Edo Governor of Esan extraction come 2024.
The Caucus further restate its commitment towards actions that will foster unity, peaceful cohesion and progress among the people and residents of the state.
Truth Live News reports that The meeting was well-attended by notable APC leaders amongst whom are Chief (Dr) Francis Inegbeniki, Dr Tony Omoaghe, Chief Okafi Erewele, Hon. (Barr) Chris Ebare, Hon. Theophilus Okoh, Hon. (Barr) Ken Ihensekhien, Rt. Hon. Justin Okonoboh, Lady Betty Okoebor-Benson, Hon. Sam Oboh, Elder Sam Ebiogbe and others
In the same-vein, the following Governorship Aspirants were in attendance, viz; Col David Imuse, Rtd., Senator Monday Okpebholo (aka) Akpakomiza, Prince (Hon) Odianosen Henry Okojie, Prof. Oserhiemen Osunbor, Rt. Hon. Thomas Okosun.
