Renowned Nigerian actress, Rahama Sadau, has distanced herself from the recently released Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Team of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Truthlive.net had reported that Sadau was listed alongside prominent Nollywood actresses like Joke Silver and Mercy Johnson and many others in the Creative and Entertainment Category of the party’s women campaign team.
However, the actresses seemingly angered by the inclusion of her name to the list without her consent wrote a disclaimer on on the development on her Twitter handle @Rahma_Sadau.
She tweeted: “This is a big fat lie. I am not aware of this. I don’t know how my name made it to this list, not in any way associated with this.”
Recall that the APC has released the names of about 944 women and wives of prominent APC politicians, including First Lady Aisha Buhari, Remi Tinubu, Nana Shettima, and others as part of the women campaign team ahead of the 2023 general election.
