Ongoing sanctions flying virtually in all political parties in the country after the general elections appears to have touched on All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, after its State Working Committee recommended the immediate suspension of some of its members for various Anti-party activities.
The straw for them was the loss in Enugu.
In a statement by the party Chairman, Mr Ndubuisi Enechi Onyia on Monday, he stated that having established a prima-facie case against these members of APGA in Enugu state, the SWC of APGA Enugu state hereby announce their immediate suspension from the party, pending the outcome of the Disciplinary Committee set up by the Party in the State.
Those suspended include Chief Jeff Nnamani, a former Governorship aspirant; Emmanuel Eze, a civil servant working at the Ministry of Land Enugu State; and Ephraim Chukwu a Law school student.
Also suspended include Mr. Celestine Onoh, Johnson Ezeugwu, Edward Chiekwe, Samuel Ugwu, Frank Chibueze, Kingsley A. Ude, Chinedu Eze, Greg Okafor, Emeka Ani, Ferdinand Anioke and many others
The SWC stated that the exercise is an ongoing one aimed at eliminating the bad eggs in the party and positioning the party for the future. It urged all APGA faithful in the State to remain committed to the party
The Disciplinary Committee has two weeks to submit its report.
