Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), recently addressed members of the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) at the Auchi Mechanic Village, urging them to actively engage in governmental affairs and hold authorities accountable.

During a courtesy visit to the association in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, Dr. Asue emphasized the importance of citizens’ participation in governance.

He encouraged NATA members to speak out and issue public statements whenever necessary, to ensure that government remains accountable to its mandate.

As the PDP’s Edo2024 flag bearer, Dr. Asue promoted the idea of collective responsibility, highlighting that when individuals uphold honesty and contribute to nation-building efforts, positive change can occur on a larger scale.

Addressing the issue of parenting and child upbringing, Dr. Asue reminded NATA members not to prioritize work over their familial responsibilities. He emphasized the significance of spending quality time with family, stressing that children are the future of the state and require guidance and attention.

“Amidst your pursuit of financial stability, do not neglect your children. Make an effort to spend time with your family to ensure their well-being and success. By each of us fulfilling our familial duties, we contribute to the betterment of our homes, communities, society, and ultimately, our nation,” Dr. Asue remarked.
