Protesting students under the umbrella of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) on Tuesday blocked the Lagos-Ibadan expressway along Sagamu axis over the ongoing ASUU strike.
The students who were seen welding placards with different inscriptions called for the immediate sack of minister of education, Mallam Adamu Adamu as well as the his counterpart, the Minister of Labour and Employment Dr. Chris Ngige.
The protest led to heavy gridlock on the highway with commuters stranded for hours and cars unable to enter or leave Lagos.
