EDO STATE: The APC in Edo has become a conglomeration of bucanners, barbarians fronting a witch doctor, Akpakomiza, with the singular aim to invade Edo’s collective human, material and fiscal resources, they have no significant plan for the State order than service themselves and cronies at the detriment of the people, God forbid, the Party is elected.
We must collectively reject them and the September 21 Edo governorship poll presents us ample opportunity to send them back to their wizardry.
Obaseki has in the most commendable manner, managed and defended Edo’s scarce resources, the outgoing Governor has put Edo’s monies where it belongs, one who can even give it improved security and defence is now mostly sort after—Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie presents such qualifications.
A State that has evolved from a civil service status to investor’s destination of choice, on Obaseki’s watch, Edo is fast-becoming a hub for industry rapprochement; a State with a now comparative fiscal power, enough to build key infrastructure for improved economic development cannot be said to be left in the hands of jackals, bucanners and barbarians, now fronting a disarticulated witch doctor to take over.
The APC has undoubtedly failed in the national assignment bestowed on it by Nigerians; whether the Nigerian community is impressed with the APC since the Party came on board is a discourse for another day; however, not many Nigerians are pleased with the Party’s outing thus far.
In Edo, the APC is an endangered specie that may become non-existent after the deserved defeat they will suffer this September in the hands of Edo people, the Party is not in the good book of Edos, owing to the unsolicited hardship and discomfort it has brought on Nigerians, for which Edo people shares sufficiently.
Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie appeals to the collective consiousness of Edo people, the duo has presented a superior manifesto that seeks to pathfind prosperity for all Edos, a workable document that cross-pollinates security, environment, infrastructure, and other key indices of life; whereas, APC’s witch doctor has said he does not need a manifesto to administer Edo, a horrifying statement unbefitting of a governorship Candidate in an enlightened State as Edo.
No room for wizardry, no room for barbarians and the vast majority of Edo people stands firm in the total rejection of APC’s bucanners and its Akpakomiza (witch doctor).
