Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has expressed disappointment with President Bola Tinubu’s governance, stating that despite initially celebrating his victory, he now feels “freedom and development are eluding us.”
Mohammed criticized Tinubu’s approach, citing a lack of clear vision and being surrounded by “misfits.”
Mohammed explained that his initial support for Tinubu was based on his record as Lagos State Governor, but now feels that progress has given way to division and impunity.
“We should not enact policies that lead to division or impunity. We must respect our diversity and practice inclusivity,” Mohammed emphasized.
The governor urged President Tinubu to adopt a more inclusive approach to governance, stressing that leadership should not be reactive or based on poorly understood foreign policies.
“I advocate for reforms that benefit us all, not because I oppose change, but because I want positive reforms that make a real difference,” Mohammed concluded.
