The governor of Bayelsa and People Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Douye Diri says the people of the state deserve better than Timipre Sylva, candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Sylvia “has been a violent person in every election.” The Governor alleged while Speaking to the press after voting in his LGA.
He added: “If you recall, the leader of the Ijaw nation, elder Edwin Clark, wrote a letter to him on why he has refused to drop his forceful and violent way of winning elections.”
According to him, “God is on the throne and we’re standing against him in his violent way of winning elections.
He further alleged that “his deputy in Brass LG threatened their party members, that if any is sighted, they should be thrown into the Atlantic Ocean and that they’re not the first people to die.”
