Natacha Akide, a.k.a. Tacha, the star of Big Brother Naija, made headlines after she appeared to explain why she was left out of the Sunday-premiere “All Stars” episode.
On Sunday, July 23, the much-awaited BBNaija All Stars, which featured celebrities from past seasons, debuted.
Pepper Dem winner, Mercy Eke, Shine Ya Eye winner, Whitemoney, Pere, Doyin, and Adekunle are just a few of the returning housemates.
A number of Tacha’s admirers expressed their desire for their favorite to be included in the show on social media when the housemates were revealed.
Media personality, Toke Makinwa, also asked on Twitter, “Who do you think should have been added to the all-stars lineup? What are your thoughts? #BBNaijaAllStars.”
However, responding to Mike Edwards’ comment, Tacha disclosed why she’s not on the show, stating,
“Dem no wan pay money nau! Price went up.”
Some social media users, however, stated that her absence from the BBNaija All Stars might be due to her disqualification.
An Instagram user @sokoofficial humorously wrote, “Rusticated students aren’t invited to Alma Mater meetings.”
“Maybe they don’t add disqualified housemates. As you shout ‘no leave no transfer,’ dem transfer you,”> another user added.
