Real Madrid star, Jude Bellingham, has urged patience for his England teammate, Kobbie Mainoo, allowing him to develop at his own pace.
Bellingham’s remarks come after Mainoo’s notable performance in England’s 2-2 draw against Belgium in an international friendly.
Mainoo, who has shown promise in his career at Manchester United in the Premier League, has already earned two caps under Gareth Southgate.
With the Euro 2024 Championship approaching, Bellingham noted the importance of handling Mainoo with care during an interview with Channel 4.
“He was good tonight. It’s difficult. I’m speaking like the old head here, but I know how hard it can be when there’s a clamor and people put a lot of pressure on you, so I don’t want to add fuel to the fire.
“But he’s definitely a brilliant player and he’s going to have an amazing future at Man Utd and hopefully for England as well,” Bellingham explained.
