Muhammad Bello El-Rufai, representing Kaduna North in the House of Representatives, has expressed his displeasure over the ongoing issues between his father, former Kaduna State Governor Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, and Governor Uba Sani.

While acknowledging his father as his number one role model and Senator Uba Sani as his boss, Bello emphasized that reconciling them is not his responsibility.

As a representative, his primary duty is to provide quality representation to the people of Kaduna North.

Bello also noted that some individuals are benefiting from the conflict, likening it to the legendary Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra fighting.

In an interview with the BBC Hausa Service, Bello expressed his disappointment over the situation, stating that he wants peace and doesn’t enjoy seeing conflicts between people he cares about.

He compared the situation to unpredictable life changes, saying that friendships shouldn’t be abandoned despite conflicts.

Bello mentioned that he’s unaware of what initially caused the rift between his father and Governor Sani, and he doesn’t know if the dispute is real or just speculation.

Neither his father nor Governor Sani has discussed the crisis with him.
