Billionaire businessman and chairman of Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu, commonly known as Obi Cubana, paid a respectful visit to Governor Alex Otti of Abia State on Sunday. The meeting occurred at the governor’s residence in Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA, Abia State. Obi Cubana, renowned for his successful business ventures, expressed his dedication to establishing a significant portion of his business in Aba.
Governor Otti took to his Twitter account on July 16th to share photographs from the visit. In his caption, he stated, “Today, I had the pleasure of hosting a prominent business tycoon and investor, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, and his brother Ike Iyiegbu at my residence in Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA, Abia State. While he emphasized that he does not typically visit governors, he felt compelled to do so given our reputation. He acknowledged that our positive initiatives have inspired many individuals to return and invest in our state.
He pledged to establish a significant part of his business in Aba and is currently in the process of acquiring land to construct industries that will generate employment opportunities for the people of Abia State, known as God’s Own State.”
