Borno Indigenes Set To Hold Maiden Cultural Day in Katsina

A prominent sociocultural group, the Borno State Indigenes Association resident in Katsina state (BOSIAK), is set to hold the maiden edition of its cultural day on Saturday, 10th of December, 2022.

 

In an official invitation made available to the press by the Chairman BOSIAK, Mr Dimas Garba, the cultural day is scheduled to feature varieties of events such as cultural dance, competition, cultural food competition and cultural attire competition. Cultural Dance will host Kanuri Tribe, Babur/Bura, Chibok Tribe, Marghi Tribe and Gwoza Tribe respectively

Several prominent personalities are expected to grace the occasion, notable among the guest of honour are Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state and his Borno state counterpart, Professor Babagana Umaru Zulum. DCP Shettima Mohammed Durtu, is the Chairman of the day.
