The Forum of Ward Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has shown its full support for Abdullahi Ganduje, the immediate past Governor of Kano State, to become the National Chairman of the party. The endorsement was made during a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday and was announced by the Forum’s Director General, Hon. Yakubu Ishaya.

The decision to endorse Ganduje was unanimous among the forum members, who believe that he possesses all the necessary qualities to be an effective politician and an ideal fit for the role of APC National Chairman. They praised him for his role in driving infrastructural development in Kano State and recognized him as a man of conscience.

The chairmen were of the opinion that Ganduje being a party man who contributed significantly to the victory of President Bola Tinubu, believes in the ideology of Mr President and remains the best party man to step into the office as the National Chairman of APC.

Hon. Ishaya noted that the party should not be at variance with President Tinubu if it must make headway as a ruling party and a seating government.

The Director General posited that the APC is too sensitive to be left without a National Chairman, especially at this crucial time when the government is just being formed.
The Forum appreciated the Progressives Governors’ Forum for its effort in ensuring a repositioned APC through recommendations and attestation of Ganduje as the next National Chairman.

The forum also appealed to President Tinubu to endorse Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman of the party for a better tomorrow.

Today, we, the grassroot Chairmen of the Party, unanimously endorsed His Excellency, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, the immediate past Governor of Kano State as APC National Chairman.

It is highly probable that Ganduje would emerge as chairman of APC owing to his outright support for the president during the campaign and elections and also the fact that NNPP has taken over the rein of power in Kano state.
