Operatives of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian Police are currently interrogating Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), at their headquarters in Abuja.
Truth Live News reports that reliable police sources confirmed to SaharaReporters that Pastor Idowu, widely recognized for his “Next Level Prayer Conference,” was arrested and is being investigated for alleged involvement in real estate fraud and money laundering.
“Pastor Bolaji Idowu has been taken into custody and is being questioned by FCID operatives in Abuja over allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering,” a senior police source disclosed. Another source confirmed his presence at the FCID, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
Pastor Idowu founded Harvesters International Christian Center in December 2003, a church that has since grown into a global ministry with branches across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
According to the church’s website, Harvesters attracts over 70,000 worshippers both online and in-person. The “Next Level Prayers” initiative, led by Pastor Idowu, is a platform designed to encourage participants to deepen their prayer lives through daily sessions held online and offline.
