The leading gubernatorial candidate for the Edo State governorship election holding on September 21, 2024, Dr Asuelimen Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has landed in Atlanta, the United States of America.
Ighodalo who landed late Sunday night will be starting a week long consultation and town hall meeting with the indigenous people of Edo residing the US in the city of Atlanta, State of Georgia, today, Monday August 12.
He will later proceed to the state of Texas, where he will be hosted by Edo people in the city of Houston on the 14th, being Wednesday.
The final day of the tour will see the candidate, popularly known as the “man wey sabi” holding a town hall in the city of New York, where Truth Live News can report that all is set for the all engaging and interactive tour.
Dr Ighodalo is accompanied in the tour by his amiable wife, Mrs Ify Ighodalo, PDP leader and DDG Finance and administration of the Asue Ogie PDP campaign council, Hon Prince Joe Okojie as well as some Edo Dispora leaders like Chief Musa Amedu and many others.
At the airport the welcome the candidate were Pastor Itua Ighodalo, popular social media influencer and podcast host “Mega Comrade Eranomigho”, Mrs Mary Ayewoh Okushi, Pastor Mrs Folahan Ayeni and other members of the Atlantan visit committee.
