After enduring ten days in captivity, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, the Chairman of the Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reportedly regained his freedom.

The news comes after his harrowing abduction, which occurred while he was on his way home from the government house.

According to initial reports by Truth Live News, Aziegbemi was kidnapped when his car was double-crossed by unknown gunmen. These assailants forcefully took him into their vehicle, leaving his driver behind.

As of the time of filing this report, Truth Live News has yet to receive confirmation from any of Aziegbemi’s family members regarding his release.

Meanwhile, a senior member of the PDP, who spoke to Truth Live News on the condition of anonymity via phone, confirmed the release of Aziegbemi.
