The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has zoned the Edo State Senatorial District ticket to Uromi.
The senate seat which was declared vacant earlier this week by the senate president after the swearing-in of Senator Monday Okpebholo as the governor of Edo State will now have a fresh election conducted to fill in the vacant seat.
Recall that the immediate Senator, Monday Okpebholo who is now the governor of the state is from Irrua and the leadership of the PDP has made a fair decision to zone the party’s senatorial ticket to Uromi.
