The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 25 disputed election has called on his supporters in Cross Rivers State to cast their votes for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prof Sandy Onor in Saturday’s Gubernatorial and House of assembly elections.
Mr. Obi who is currently in court over the presidential outcome which he said was rigged in favor of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu stated this on Monday during an interview with Arise TV, monitored by Truth Live News.
According to Obi, “there are some states where my Party, the LP doesn’t have candidates and we are partnering with some good candidates in those states to ensure victory for them.”
“We have good candidates in Lagos, Delta, Plateau, Nasarawa, Enugu, Abia, and a few others, but in Cross Rivers state, we have agreed to align with the PDP and their candidate, Prof Sandy Onor, a very good candidate who enjoys strong support from the people, and I urge all Obidenits in Cross River State to support and cast their votes for Prof Onor who is a current senator.
Obi also made case for the candidate of his party in Delta and Lagos who he described as young and well qualified to lead the people well.
